The new chic and responsible ritual

The French brand is shaking up the rigid codes of organic beauty.

New year, new (good) resolutions! After the excesses of the holiday season, it's time to detox.

From January 1, social media was promoting the merits of "Dry January," a month without alcohol, as well as "Green Monday," a meat-free first day of the week. Fair enough. While the food and textile industries are becoming increasingly responsible, the cosmetics sector is not far behind.

Faced with the challenge of combining organic products with elegant packaging, sisters Michaela and Emeline Thomsen have just launched Thomsen Beauty, a digital brand certified by the Ecocert organic and eco-friendly label.

The Thomsen ritual—cleanse, moisturize, enhance—banishes all harmful ingredients and combines 100% natural ingredients, including preservatives, such as olive oil, almond oil, baobab oil, and shea butter in six essential products: a creamy cleansing foam, three moisturizing face creams, including a night cream with hyaluronic acid, a dry serum that smooths the skin's texture, and a fluid body cream.

Developed in France, the textures are fluid, light, and glide pleasantly over the skin. Fragrances such as almond, verbena, apricot, and peppermint are present yet subtle.

The two sisters' commitment to the environment also extends to product packaging. The minimalist, chic bottles made from recycled glass look like stylish decorative objects.

Good initiative, the pump is optional to limit the carbon footprint. A great way to start the new school year.
